Cassidee is 10 years old and attends Coronado Elementary in New Smyrna Beach.

She recently found a lump on her side. Her pediatrician sent her to Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando. On July 30th, they operated on Cassidy to remove her kidney because of a cancerous tumor. This tumor turned out to be a Wilms Tumor which has a 90% or higher success rate.

Cassidee must undergo 25 weeks of chemotherapy & radiation, she will not be able to attend school during this treatment due to the risk of infection. She will need a tutor to keep up with her studies.

Cassidee lives with her Mom and they have recently moved in with her grandmother to save money, her mom cannot work during the treatment as she will be going back and forth to Orlando for the treatment.

As Coronado Beach parents we would like to help Cassidee and her mother.
